The aims and objectives of the Association are as follows:
1. To unite all Old Students (referred to in this Constitution as “Old Boys”) of Government Secondary School, Otukpo, under one body, fostering social interaction, brotherhood, and mutual understanding.
2. To safeguard the rights and interests of all members of the Association.
3. To uphold and propagate the philosophy of “Discipline and Service”, as enshrined in the school’s motto, among Old Boys in their personal, public, and professional lives, thereby encouraging exemplary discipline and academic standards in the school.
4. To promote the founding principles of the school for the advancement of humanity and enhance its image.
5. To nurture patriotism and national consciousness among members and advocate on matters of national interest when they are at risk.
6. To support, assist, or promote humanitarian initiatives aligned with the objectives of the Association.
7. To collaborate with the school’s proprietor in executing projects that benefit the students and enhance their learning experience.
8. To undertake all lawful activities necessary to achieve these objectives, including:
•Conferring awards on individuals or organizations in recognition of their contributions to the development of the school and/or the promotion of humanitarian causes.
